Shadow’s Past in Glory’s Light

A silhouette,

An empty frame,

Of a past that doesn’t remain.

Stumbling, Falling and Up again,

You’re still here; it’s not the end.

 

Gone the regrets,

Gone the fears;

A New Year, it’s already here!

Hope for today, Hope for tomorrow,

The hope lies within you to follow.

 

Out from the dark,

In newness of light;

Stands a tall you, shining bright.

Yearning, Passionate, Full of Love;

The gifts bestowed upon you from above.

 

Begin now,

Begin anew;

Leave a legacy that outlives you.

Dreams, Goals, the Impossible within reach,

The fruit, the harvest in others you teach.

 

Meaning:  You are here for a purpose.  The gifts and talents that come so easily to you are God’s gift through you.  Share the gift.  Leave a legacy.  Begin anew with a “New” you!
